Where to find the zipped file after downloading? After I request download, the server produces the zipped file, a small process box appears at the bottom right of the screen. If you are using Google Chrome, and if your antivirus app is not blocking things, when you select the files for download it will prompt you with a popup asking you to navigate to the location on your computer where you wish to store the downloaded zip archive.
The download does not begin until you have pointed the popup to the location you wish or leave it at the default and then click Ok. If you are not seeing that popup, then something on your system is interfering with the popup.

Bob Giangiorgi. Go to Chrome. Click on Customize bar - three vertical dots far right top. Go to settings and then advance settings - this shows up on left of screen.
Click on downloads. Activate "Ask where - - - ". Go back to Drive and start the download process for the selected file. As the zipping process is underway I get a pop-up in the top center asking to Leave or Cancel.
